4月27日 Lying Law-MongersLying Law Mongers
From a letter to the editor of a Florida Newspaper:
Your front page headline “Law would make lying illegal for legislators” printed in Friday 27, April paper caught my attention and prompted me to offer comment. Your short phrase speaks volumes about the true lack of personal integrity and collective conscience displayed by most of our elected leaders and appointed officials. Why should a new act of the legislature become necessary to curb lying by those in high office? Perhaps there is a high positive correlation between the sin of lying while in office and the number of elected officials who studied political science and attended law school. But this simple explanation that many citizens believe to be true seems not to matter and its intrinsic truth is drowned out by many slick Television commercials. These commercials are produced by those with a political agenda, special interest, or they are tempting you to sue your neighbor. Diversity is now a mantra of American society. So, let’s stop this incestuous practice of electing professional liars to public office. We should try electing some diverse, yet ordinary, citizens who may actually care more about our great nation than themselves. Tongue -in -cheek I say, “Our society can avoid falling further, but it is up to you and me”. Fascists in Strange PlacesLiberals' Fascism In 1964, California's liberal Governor Pat Brown didn't mince words. He described Ronald Reagan as a "right wing extremist." He suggested his conservative opponents were fascists, "the spasm reaction of hatred." Then he painted a word picture of what happened in German beer halls 30 years earlier. As it turns out, he may prove to be right.
But oddly, fascism seems to have come to America, riding on a clever Trojan horse -- liberalism. The Left is clamping down on free speech just like the communists do when they takeover a country. In their "first 100 days," the 2007 Democrat Congress and their house organ, the media, are looking eerily puritanical.

If you think we have problems now, just wait until this project is completed.
Beyond the obvious problems this will bring, has anyone asked how many US citizens will be displaced for this project?
Ask the "man on the street" and you will find that most Americans don't even know about this project.
Others have heard about it but never believed it was real.
I hope you will take the time to read all of the text.

Don Imus' former producer said Thursday that the radio exchange that got them both fired was wrong, but that it would be horrible if people could no longer poke fun at each other. Bernard McGuirk, a 20-year producer and on-air jester for the "Imus in the Morning" program, was fired a week after his boss for the banter in which members of the Rutgers University women's basketball team were called "nappy-headed hos." After talk radio host Don Imus—clearly no conservative—was fired last week for racially-tinged comments, calls to reinstate the Doctrine have grown louder. When they were in force through the 1980s, Heritage regulation expert James Gattuso explains, these onerous government regulations on television and radio “required broadcasters to air both sides of controversial issues. The Doctrine’s effect was to discourage controversial issue-oriented programming.” In other words, government effectively barred conservative talk radio programs. “It was not until this rule was repealed in the 1980s that talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh found a place on the radio dial,” Gattuso writes. A DANGER TO SOCIETY I was in graduate school, studying clinical psychology when they began shutting down the asylums. The place was California, the time was the early 1970s, and "they" were an unprecedented confederation of progressives, libertarians and fiscal conservatives.
From the left marched battalions of self-styled mental health "liberation activists" steeped in the writings of Scottish psychiatrist R.D. Laing. Though he denied being opposed to his own profession, Laing's notion that madness could be a reasonable reaction to an unjust society, or even a vehicle for spiritual transformation, helped fuel the anti-psychiatry movement of the post Love-In era. The most radical of Laingians carried revisionism one step further: Not only wasn't psychosis a bad thing, it was evidence of a superior level of consciousness.

Alarming details about the Virginia Tech tragedy underscore the importance of a citizen’s individual right to keep and bear arms.A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." --Second Amendment to the U.S. ConstitutionThere were abundant warning signs that gunman Cho posed a serious threat to the campus community, yet here he was running loose and committing mayhem. And all that seems to be on the minds of many in the media and at the offices of gun control extremists is figuring out how to exploit this horrible tragedy to erode and eventually destroy the right, and the means, of self-defense.
